Wild South China Tiger extinct in the Wild after 30 years…..

Web portals thrive on the constant and careful fanning of debate over such scandals as “ Tigergate ” about a Chinese farmer’s photo of a wild south china tiger. according to Juliet Ye of the wall street journal, last Fall , a farmer in china’s Shaanxi province spied a wild south china tiger, believe to be extinct, and snapped a picture of it. the photo spread like a wildfire on the Chinese Internet. Tigergate is just one of several Chinese Internet scandals that have stirred up to attention recently.

One government official’s tiger blog alone was visited by more than a million people. some people who suspected the photo was fake became “tiger fighters” insisted both the image and the tiger were authenticate. It’s now a predictable pattern that china’s portals amplify and orchestrate the incident for public consumption, driving traffic to their sites.

This morning when i was about to read some tech news i find this article by Allan Fransisco about the software that called ” GyPSii ” it is a web site launched last week at a mobile phone industry trade show in Barcelona Spain. this web site is not just like of many social networking site’s,  GyPSii allows users to share their real life experiences in the virtual world using mobile devices and the web. It is a social networking, search & location based suite of integrated mobile and web applications – for users to share, view & upload pictures, video, text and POI (points of interest) with a Geo-location – place and track each other in their select communities. Find people and places, points of interest, map and navigate to them all. Nonetheless some might see  benefits with the implementation of location technology, and  some people who might be apprehensive if not like to oppose such efforts to monitor their whereabouts.
